2/14/2010: Ground is Broken for New Education Building!
Phase IV Construction Starting Soon!

Above is a rendering of the completed new building designed by McGehee Nicholson Burke Architects. Construction will be handled by Montgomery Martin. Both firms designed and built our current facility.

After months of discussions, meetings, study, bidding, etc., Covenant celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony Sunday, February 14, 2010 for a new building. We hope to have pictures soon!The portico will provide convenient entry during inclement weather. New class rooms will provide for needed room to expand our infant and toddler areas, children’s grades and at least one adult room. Some of the rooms will be available for multiple needs. And of utmost importance to half of our congregation is additional restroom facilities! Space between the current north classrooms and the new building is scheduled to be used for a children’s playground.

While mainly for new classrooms, the new building will also provide for much needed office space for our entire staff, all in one area, instead of all over our current building! Also included in that office space will be plenty of storage, a general purpose meeting room. Finally, there a small meeting room for staff meetings, as well as for a staff member with members.

God continues to grow Covenant and provide ways to handle that growth in new and effective ways! Come see what He is doing at Covenant!
