Welcome to the Covenant Picture Gallery!

Images from a few events of the last few months...

Please feel free to donate any interesting pictures of your group! We’ll do our best to get them on line in a reasonable time. Let the rest of us know what’s happening around our Church!

Pictures of Vacation Bible School: Now on their own page!

Round Up for Jesus, May 14

We had 18 kids, almost everyone brought a friend! Cody did an amazing job on the program for the evening! Why the balloons, a lesson in how the body of Christ operates! Glenda Barge and Sid Johnson, could not have done it without them. Susan Hainsworth helped with all the bulletin ads and printing needs for our forms/flyers. Awesome youth helpers: Kyle, Phillip and Reagan (not sure of her spelling). Praise the Lord for a great evening! Enjoy the pictures.

Probably the only time these energetic kids were still?

Looks like the event was very tiring for some (one?) of the youth helpers!

This must be how you carry marbles if you don’t have any pockets?

Carriers for Christ Talent Round Up, May 5

Pictures by Cindy Thymius

This was the most outlandish...I mean out standing display of talent I can remember seeing. Unfortunately, it was also heard! And absolutely enjoyed by everyone! If you missed these performances, you can at least get a CD of the audio parts. Fill out one of the CD request forms in the Foyer. You won’t believe your ears!

The youngest waited until the end but sang with all the joy and energy of a seasoned artist.

The Ketler Family - probably the most musically talented family at Covenant, this time as a trio.

Somehow, Emma sneaked into the church with several of her animal friends!

Always a favorite, R.B Lehmann, sang of three crosses on the side of the road.

Haley helped show Janet how to play our grand piano.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that our two known singers have moved away from two of the older Staff, at least while they were singing...

It looked like Mark but it sounded like Scott Joplin!

A relatively new member but a very talented one, Gowona Crosby.

Lucas related the happy ending to the story of “Prinderella and the Slopped Dripper.”

Jamie proved to be a better actor than cook!

Fortunately, these ladies only play Emergency Services professionals on “TV”!

Apparently, it ain’t over till the director dies.

“The paper sticketh no tighter to the walls

than doth money to the pockets of my father.” At least, that’ what lady Jessie complained.

In a vain attempt to bring some class to our group, Professor Busby gave the crowd a pop quiz. I fear the bell “curve” looks more like the horizon in a desert! But, thanks for trying, David.

Our own Bro. Keith did an outstanding job of keeping things moving! Much of the time it was people moving out to their cars, after a few too many of his “jokes”, however!

It seemed that the only person in the congregation not enjoying the talent was a visitor from some small church in Mississippi. I think I heard her introduced as Mrs. Holier Than Thou...

For some unknown reason, our visitor became very moved by something that came over her during the service.

Whatever it was that Mrs. Holier felt, it had a similar effect the whole congregation! Everyone either made a public confession or rededicated their life!

Rule #1: Know what you’re bidding on and bid on what you know!

The inimitable Lamar Nelson, Jr. provides the descriptions and encouraging words to part the people from their monies!

Something delicious for everyone.

Free, personalized delivery at no extra charge!

It’s always good to have a little help?

I’m not sure, but this looks like Dr. Brassell thinks he had the top bid on some item. Where are the referees when you need them?!

Please let our webmaster know when you have taken any digital images of just about anything happening at Covenant. Share some of the fun, interesting, joyful, historic and plain old “happenings”!

You can easily send them to the webmaster as JPEG’s which is probably what your camera saves its images as, but almost any format is suitable. It would be helpful if you edit the images down to about 1,000 by 1,000 pixels, but if you have a high-speed internet connection and no limits by your ISP, send the originals, whatever size they may be.

If you prefer, you can bring your digital camera to church on Sunday Morning and he can download the images and return the camera to you that evening.

If you don’t have a digital camera, don’t despair! Good, sharply focused and well lit prints can usually be scanned with good results for web viewing. Again, if you have some good prints the webmaster can usually scan them between Sunday Morning and Evening services.

Please E-mail our webmaster if you find any problems with this site.
